Casting: The BlackWell Files

I submitted some photos to the BlackWell Files, a San Francisco company known for casting 'real people' in industry print ads and commercials. I had to upload some 'non-professional' photos to be considered, and they invited me in.
Hopefully I will get some bookings!!!

Desired Temptations Dance team had a great night at Impala Nightclub on Thursday, May 29th. I got dressed up and took some photos! I also assisted Damien with his group shots of the dancers.

Casting: I am NOT going to be Paris Hilton's new BFF

Ridiculously, I auditioned to be in the new reality MTV show, Paris Hilton's new BFF.
Up to two weeks ago, they told me that they had not made thier picks yet. But according to Paris' blog, as referenced on other gossip sites, they started filimng last week. oh well :)

Video Gig: Jones Soda Spec Ad- my face did not make the cut

Sigh. I spent a Sunday morning in April filming this student spec ad for Jones Soda. Unfortunately, my face is not shown and I am only in on clip. We did a whole series of reaction clips that were not used at all. Thankfully, they paid me for it so I covered my gas, tolls, etc. Otherwise I would be pissed.

Inexperienced and Experienced models needed for a rooftop model shoot at Symphony Towers on Van Ness Ave. Hair stylists and makeup artists from Treat Aveda Salon will be on-site. Free food and beverages will be available. The shoot will be all day from 9am to 9pm. Each model will be assigned a time slot.
When: Tue, May 20th
Where: Symphony Towers Rooftop, 750 Van Ness Ave. San Francisco

----------It was awesome, Amber from Treat did my hair and make-up, Alissa the photographer was focused, creative and professional. I am indeed standing on the edge of the building in these shots, it was a bit dicey with the wind but I loved it! DOn't I look like a corporate CEO?

My Life: Damien shoots Absinthe Party

Absinthe is legal again and it sure packs a punch! Damien covered the SF Cocktail Week closing party at Absinthe, a classy establishment specializing in its namesake. Damien drank only half of one absinthe cocktail and felt loopy!
I ran into an old friend from grade school who is now a food editor, Kate Jessup at Diablo Magazine.

Modeling Gig: Trade Show for Event-Pros

I am signed up with Event Pros, a company that book girls for trade show events.
I worked for Sanofi-Aventis, a pharmaceutical company. I had to help hundreds of doctors from around the whole world figure out out to fill out forms on a computer.

Casting: SFCasting Photos- Mom!!!

I went to a casting at SF Casting for a pharmaceutical ad- they wanted me to try for the role of a 'mom'.........what does a mom look like? there are lots of moms!! I put on some khakis and wore fake pearls. I am actually pretty happy with the pics. These were taken for my online profil, I wore a button-up shirt for the mom photos.
