Another Video Audition

Today I went for another audition for video work- this time for a company that makes CG ads for car dealerships. They have a full digital studio in the basement of a house in the Rockridge area of Oakland. I went in the green screen and pretended to be looking at a car. He asked Damien to jump in to, told him that he 'looked like a car dealer' :). Of course, Damien WAS a successful car salesman for some time. It went well and he paid me for the audition. Hopefully we can get some work with him.

Today I went to Damon Malloy's place in the Mission, did an on-camera audition. The gig is an ongoing project to create video intro for web sites. It was fun and he said I was very professional :) we shall see.

Television Gig: Margaret Cho's Universe!

I flew down to LA for one day for a casting call and to see how I like it, again.

The casting was for a catalogue for a line of dresses. Tons of girls showed up and I knew I didn' have a chance. So I went to the LA Casting offices and I got a last minute rush call to be int he audience for Margaret Cho!

The producers of “The Cho Show” are currently seeking audience members for an upcoming episode of Margaret’s new series on Vh1.

If you’re at least 18 years old, live in the Los Angeles area, and available Wednesday, April 23rd from 10:00am to 6:00pm please email your contact info to the email address below. However, if you are unavailable for the full 8 hour taping please let us know what time you’re available, and for how many hours.

I am in the audience, it was awesome! Margaret Cho is having a show on Vh1 this fall and I am in the audience for the beauty pageant sequence.

TFCD: Shoot today in Berkeley with Fernando

After answering an ad on craigslist, I hooked up with photographer Fernando Aguilar in Berkeley for a photo shoot. He is building his portfolio of 'corporate business-type' headshots, and I need more great photos!
The studio in Berkeley is beautiful and Fernando was very professional, we shot for 2 1/2 hours and got some fun pics.

Last minute shoot on the roof- Damien and I still had the rented backdrop stand so we headed to the roof for a quickie....photoshoot. The wind knocked down the backdrop, but we used the wall and took some shots in the freezing cold. I am wearing the white dress from our wedding reception :)

Damien and I ran the Red Carpet at the Bay Club Marin's big Gala party!
He took photos and I was the host. I wore my grandmother's camel hair and fur coat, it was a big hit. Damien took amazing photos all night. My momma stopped by to see!!!

Modeling Gig: Trade Show Modeling for AdShuffle

My first official gig as a promo / spokes-model INSIDE the Moscone Center!!!
I represented AdShuffle, the Diamond sponsor of the Ad:Tech 2008 convention. I saw many of my buddies from Blue Lithium and Yahoo, and I managed to pull off wearing a white dress and huge orange earrings!! Good $$$$ for looking cute and wearing painful shoes!!!

Television Gig: Bobby Flay Paella Throwdown!!!

Another ad on Craigslist, another adventure!!! This was supposed to be a Paella cooking class with Gerard, a local paella master. It was at Cannery Row in Fishermans Wharf. It seemed fun enough, until Bobby Flay showed up!!!!
It was actually an episode of Throwdown!!!
There was a cook-off and tons of yummy food. Soemone else took these pics, and they captured it very well! Also a shot of me and my buddy Kali :)

MODELS NEEDED: Photo Shoot for Dental Marketing Company (san rafael)

We are looking for models for our in-house stock photo library. Images will be used in marketing materials for dental practices in North America.
The photo shoot will be held on June 6 in San Rafael and will be approx. 3-4 hours long.
We are looking for all ethnicities
Women and men ages 25-70
Children ages 7-10
Teens with braces
Please send a head shot where you are smiling, with teeth showing.
Models selected will be required to come to a quick casting call June 2.
